Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro: Release date
Google has confirmed that the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro will both arrive in the “fall” (Spring in Australia) – September, October, November – but the company hasn’t announced a release date yet. Based on previous releases, Google consistently announced the release of its new Pixel devices around late September to mid-October with sales starting about a week to two weeks later. Rumours and speculations have suggested that the “Made by Google” event will be held on the 19th of October this year. Pre-orders are also expected to open that same day. The 28th of October is also expected to be the general on-sale date.

Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro: Design
In terms of design, the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are expected to feature a prominent horizontal camera housing (which spans from one side of the phone to the next, dividing the back cover into two different colours above and below), triple camera, punch-hole front camera, and bold colour options.
Pixel 6 Pro would be bigger with a slightly larger display than the standard version. The pro version would also have more space above the camera housing than the Pixel 6. Both the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro would be available in three colours but the Pixel 6 would feature a “matte aluminium finish” while the Pixel 6 Pro would feature a “light polished aluminium frame.”
Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro: Price
While there have not been any official statements about the price yet, it’s clear that the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are premium phones from Google’s own announcement. According to rumour, the prices of these devices should fall somewhere within the range of $799 to $1,099.
Lastly, a recent rumour claimed that the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro could feature boosted wireless charging – from 10W to 23W fast charging. This would offer faster charging than any of the previous iPhones and Samsung phones.
While you await the launch of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, don’t forget to get some cool phone accessories, covers and cases for your Google Pixel phones or other smartphones and mobile devices.
