Display quality

The biggest difference between an 11-inch model and a larger 12.9-inch model is the quality of the display. The larger model has a Mini LED technology known as the Liquid Retina XDR. Its resolution is 2732 x 2048 with a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio which is great for viewing and editing HDR photos or videos. The screen has 1000 nits of brightness and advanced technology like True Tone, ProMotion and P3 wide colour for a truly enjoyable movie watching.

The 11-inch model is a bit behind in spec, however, it still offers a Liquid Retina display and features advanced tech like True Tone, ProMotion, P3 wide colour and ultralow reflectivity. It has 600 nits of brightness and a resolution of 2388 x 1668.

Get connected

The new Apple tablet has a Thunderbolt port which means users can connect other gadgets, like an external display or fast external storage, to the iPad. Moreover passing huge files between devices will be much faster thanks to this port. Another fast connection is achieved thanks to the 5G technology that helps with a rapid download of larger files, streaming movies, uploading content on the go and staying connected with friends. With Wi-Fi 6 the tablet will get the fastest Wi-Fi available nearby.
