Apple Fitness+ app is a great service for those who are new to exercising at home. It offers many different guided workouts to enjoy and get fit. User can choose amongst 10 workout types: HIIT (high-intensity interval training), yoga, dance, rowing, stationary bike, treadmill walk, treadmill run, core, strength training and mindful cooldown.
Every week new workouts are added and all routines include multiple trainers who are in an age range from 20 up to 60 years old. They are not only specialists in their field, but they also have their own inspiring fitness stories and life experiences that can motivate users. What is more, instructors are very inviting, positive and give clear instructions throughout the workout. There are also up to three demonstrators per workout showing the routine at different intensity levels, so users can choose at which pace they will exercise. Some exercises are also designed specifically for pregnant women, beginners and the elderly.
Workouts can last from only 5 or up to 45 minutes, one can choose sessions that will fit in their schedule or based on what kind of exercise he or she wants to do. As we mentioned before there are 10 workout types one can choose from, or he/she can search by the duration of the class, by an instructor and type of music. Apple hasn’t made an option to create a playlist of one’s preferred workouts yet, but users can save their fav sessions to the My Workouts section to have them all in one place.
Fitness Plus streams directly from your iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV and uses the Apple Watch to display metrics (heart rate, calories, time, etc.) on-screen to help you meet your fitness goals. The watch also records all other activities (walking, running, etc.) to help craft suggestions for Fitness Plus training that make sense for the user’s routine and recovery needs. Without an Apple Watch, you can’t get the service, which is kind of a point of doing the Apple Fitness+ workouts. However, there are people who would probably like the app without an Apple Watch.
The Apple Fitness+ app is payable and users can choose to pay $14.99 a month or $119.99 for a year. There is also an option to get a free trial to test the workouts. The price for the app is relatively low for the number of workouts we get and especially for beginners who aren’t ready for the gym that is more expensive.
Based on the information we have given you about the application, it is up to you to decide whether it is worth having this application or whether you would prefer other paid applications or other online and free video workouts. It should be noted that it makes sense to have an Apple Watch for this app so that you can monitor all the metrics by which the Apple Fitness+ app differs from other fitness apps.
What will you do? Do you already own an Apple Watch or are you ready to purchase one to enjoy the full service of the Apple Fitness Plus app?
